1974 (Mum 46/ Me 19) Thursday
Mum – none
Me – Did early shift for bob.  Got up at 5.00 in at 6.00.  Tape went up the shoot.  Finished at 1.00. Mum & dad went to Mollys.  Nick, J, A and Hil went to see Anita Harris in Peter Pan.  V Tired.

1969 (Mum 41/ Me 14) Friday
Mum – Coffee with Mary Shaw.  Carol [Paine] brought twins to see Sally
Me – In morn had Latin & French.  For games had games on tennis courts.  Mum bought for me ‘The Magical Mystery Tour’ 2 EPs.  In afternoon had Geog and Maths.  In evening Mum & Dad went to my 3rd form parents evening.  Good day.

Mum – none
Me – Sir Winston Churchill died 90 years at 8am was sick

Preface gives Objects, Structure of the Guild and hints from NUTG advisors on starting up Drama, Music, Social Studies and Arts and Crafts Groups
During the above years mum was looking after myself, my sister 8 years younger and brother 13

Still at Infant/Primary School. Diary quite comprehensive giving facts on First Aid, Atomic Energy, 34 question quiz, books to read (none of which I’ve ever read), Pets, Countries of the World, Duke of Edinburgh Award, Animal Facts, Finding your way by the Sun, in fact a whole mini-book in itself.
