1974 (Mum 46/ Me 18) Friday
Mum
– Secon Vegetable concentrated [?]. Delivered magaziness and called to
see Rev.Vear but he was in bed, home at 12.20. Spent afternoon with Lucy
Hoben. Saw Treasure Island.
Me
– In morn saw ? at Esso. Got wages from Classic & cards. In evening Nick
popped over. Mum and Hil went to Treasure Island. Rainy Day.
1969 (Mum 41/ Me 13) Saturday

Me
– In morn at morn sprayed record player. At 11.00 went with Pete and Bill to
Oxford. Had to change at Reading. Had drink when we got there. Went in at
Cuckoo Lane end. One minute to go and Ron [Davies] equalised 1-1. Had a meal
before getting the 7-5. Met two girls 16-17 one who had a piece of asbestos on
her head had to have 7 stiches. Dad went to see a car. Good day. got in
at 9.30pm.

by the Sun, in fact a whole mini-book in itself.
