Mum – Did shopping at Sainsbury’s Chandlers
Ford. Had lunch at home. Gary in at 1.45. Did knitting.
Me – In morn went in at 7.00 with Ken, in my
car. Much less windy. No rain for a change. Bought black
& white shirts and trs great?!! Listened to Lou Reed’s Berlin on Mums cassette great.
1969 (Mum 41/ Me 14) Friday
Mum – none
Me – In morn had Games rained had it by
Gym. After dinner had Geog and Maths. Mum & Dad went to New
Milton in afternoon to look for shops they are thinking of buying a
launderette. [What!] Ken bought my record player back fixed. Nick went to
work. Mum bought me a Guitar book.
